OUR MISSION STATEMENT

OUR HISTORY
Generations of Family Unity
The Nungua Nii Odaiteitse We family traces its ancestry to Nuumo Odai Tswei, the senior brother of Nii Odai Nkoto (Welentsi), King of Nungua. The two brothers migrated together to Nungua, where our house became part of the Adonten Division and took on its traditional role as frontline defenders and gatekeepers of the Nungua State.
Today, the house is made up of six lineages, with branches in Teshie and La. The shrines and deities we keep, which are also found in Aneho, Togo, still reflect the journey our ancestors made.
Under the leadership of Nii Otu Kwei II, the family remains united through our shared traditions, and every January we gather for our Annual Thanksgiving Service to pray, give thanks to God and commit the new year into His hands.
